My Story

 

Hello, my name is Susan Purnell and have just joined the JDL family.

I have been making jewellery for a number of years, but only seriously for the last 2 when I retired and moved to Cheshire from the south coast. I first started making due to having a stressful job, and needed an outlet; so decided to make jewellery for friends and family.

Generally, I use genuine gemstones and silver. Each month I will have the current birthstone and that of the following month, as well as bringing some gemstones that a not as well known, such as malachite, tourmaline, larimar, kunzite, amazonite, various jaspers, labradorite, morganite. Finally, The Big 5 (diamond, sapphire, ruby, emerald and tanzanite) and old favourites jade and amber.

All earrings are silver, or gold plated silver, to reduce the possibility of a reaction.

Prices are from £5.00 to £60.00 (for a rough diamond and silver bracelet.

Finally, I undertake commissions and bridal working with the customer to get just what they want. Please contact me for further information on any of my jewellery. My shop will open soon.
